Webcam Relaxation Room

Three video projectors display images from global webcams consisting of a rotating series of live webcams and previously recorded webcam footage. On the opening night, the live channels featured the webcam projects of students at Western Michigan University participating in a webcam seminar. The edited webcams belong to an ongoing series entitled, “Waterhole Webcams,” focusing on observations, interactions and representations of webcams centered on bodies of water. Water is the strange attractor, which draws participants to drink, bath and enter into the field of vision.
