Triangulation

When I was in high school was particularly interested in the geometry and mathematical proofs. There seemed to be a unique pleasure in logic and vision. As if through arrangement the visible world could be understood. I had quite an aptitude for mathematics and my math teacher wanted me to go into mathematics. I remember the triangle in particular.

I also rremember an interest in Fibrinachi number series and different sized infinities


Pythagoras

In terms of sighting/situating the Y, I am headed, in my emotive memory, towards the intersection of West Broadway and Hudson Streets with the James Borgadus Triangle park. Intersection is also near the center of Tribecca, so triangulation and 3's are very present. I am definitely strangely attracted to this site rather than Battery Park also because it is peripheral, secondary, ficele, compared to the major implications of the site of Battery Park. But I will figure out how to include other Ys other wise not chosen here.

Numerolog-Y

At this point I am thinking of starting with (2) 5 blocks for the bifurcation of the Y (along West Broadway and Hudson Streets) and 2-3 blocks for the joint section (along West Broadway), such that the figure still suggests the shape of the wishbone. It seems right that the distance between pom poms should be the length of my shoe size which is about a foot. Calculating the standard distance between street blocks in NYC to be 20 blocks to the mile, this would give me around 1320 pom poms for each arm of the Y (2640 ). this would leave little over one block (about 360 pom poms) to equal the number of pom poms to about 3000 (the approximate number of deaths from the WTCs). Adding to this will be wishes/questions included by the website visitors. There are approximately three and something blocks left before excavation on the trade centers site begins. This gives a leeway of about 696 pom poms. I'm guessing that a wish/question sentence in put into the Website will be fairly long, about 18 words, this gives about 94 characters with spaces. If I were to encode this directly into poms it would allow for only about 6 sentences. Therefore I think it might be a good idea to calculate the number of characters in a wish/question and then add to numerals of the number together (94, 9+4=13) to give the number of pom poms. Each wish/question would be separated by a blue pom. (This would allow for more like 60 questions...)

So when at the wishes and put it are added to the number of fatalities the end point of this figure in pom pom this would be the place where I would find the answer to my burning "question."

If you can follow all this, what you think? Any other ideas?
